Help move the library!

The library is moving and we need help!

In a few weeks, we will move the APRL collection from our current space to recently renovated new library space in the Match Factory. Though we are not going far—just down the hall—moving a library is time-consuming and complex. We have hired professional movers but there are many opportunities to help us prepare for the move and offset moving costs with volunteer labor.

We can use help with preparations from now through April 29, and help with the move from May 2–13. We welcome volunteers who are comfortable pushing full book carts, reaching, bending, and lifting, and comfortable around moderate dust.

Can’t come to Bellefonte? You can still help by being patient as we may need a little more time to fulfill your library requests. If you are computer savvy, we also have a few projects that can be completed from home.
