New faces at the APRL

I’d like to introduce you to two new faces at the APRL.

Scott TiffneyScott Tiffney has been our reference assistant since November. He replaced Neil Coker, who took a job at Regency-Superior Auctions in October. Some of you may know Scott already since he had been a volunteer since February 2011 and he has already represented the APS at COLOPEX and AmeriStamp. Scott has a Masters in Library and Information Science and has library experience in both the U.S. and Canada, most recently with the National Park Service. Working at the APRL has reignited his own interest in philately. When you call, email, or visit the APRL, Scott will help you find resources to answer your research questions.

Krystal HarterKrystal Harter is spending two days a week in the APRL as a library assistant. Again, some of you may already know Krystal as the APS expertizing coordinator. Krystal, along with a part time assistant to be hired, replaces Roseann Staie, who retired from the APRL after nearly 20 years of service in December.

This seems like a good time to remind you that the best way to reach us is by email to aprl@stamps.org or by calling 814-933-3803 and selecting option 3.
